I have a 6085 through Rogers in Canada. They have disabled the option for making my music function as the ringtone. It does not matter what format I use. I tried the Nokia media software.

So what are the steps I need to take to get my music playing as ringtones?

I have the cable from Nokia. After trying to use my music, I uninstalled all Nokia software and cleared Nokia from my registry and my hdd. I was going to try the diego software but I think maybe it won't work on a BB5 phone.

Please advise me.

I have Rogers 6085/5300 too. Just use NSS, then reset the "Factory area". Try it and see. See the howardforums thread

Thanks for the hint. The only info I could find on NSS is a little old. Can I install it if I already have Nokia PC Suite on or do I need a "clean" install?

Worse, I couldn't find anyone who has unlocked a 6085 yet.
